ディープなハウス、テクノ、ディスコを通過したソウルフルなタッチのスタイルで注目のDept.レーベル主宰。
欧州ハウスシーンにおける主要クラブKaiku、ÄÄNIWALLI等でのDJプレイの他、ヘルシンキのラジオ局 Basso にて、レギュラー番組「Dept.」を放送中。
J.Lindroos is the main man behind Dept. – a Helsinki based event organiser and record label. He’s a actively performing selector and a power player in Helsinki’s underground music scene.
He’s playing regularly in Helsinki’s top venues such as Kaiku and Ääniwalli. He also performed in Flow Festival’s Resident Advisor Backyard last summer and it’s not an coincidence that he has been booked to play places outside Helsinki, like Tallinn’s famous JÄCK parties, Pärnu’s Lokomotiiv Festival which was headlined by Moodymann and Mr. Ties, Berlin’s Neue Heimat and Paloma, and Barcelona’s Niu, where they hosted a showcase with the Dept. crew during the Sonar week. He has been billed on the same line ups with Marcel Dettman, Seth Troxler, Dixon, Joey Anderson, Radio Slave and Rrose, just to name a few.
His style goes through the sounds of house, techno and disco with a deep and soulful touch. He knows how to create the vibe, where you forget everything between time and space, and just let the beat take you.
J.Lindroos is also hosting Dept.’s weekly radio show on Finnish nation wide FM channel Bassoradio together with Denzel.

JR渋谷駅南改札を出て東急プラザターミナル側（西口）に出て左手に見える歩道橋で246を真っ直ぐ渡り降りる。左手に「あおい書店」右手にFamily Martのある道を30ｍ程直進。右斜め前方に「すき家」が入ったビルのB1。

Leave Shibuya JR station by the South exit and turn left. Go straight over the walkway overpass and at the bottom of the steps you’ll see a small crossing what you need to pass. On your right side you will see “Family Mart” convenience store, but turn left in the opposite direction and walk until you come to a small intersection (about 3minutes by walk). The Room is across the road in the basement of the corner building, underneath the restaurant ‘Sukiya’. The stairs for the basement are outside. Look for the red lantern!
